Well, as you can see by the picture on the left that I was one HUGE Guy. On July 5th, 2006 when I began my workouts I weighed a whopping 314 pounds. Make that 314 pounds of Pure FAT. I can't believe how BIG I was! And I was fed up with being HUGE, not feeling good, getting sick all of the time, no confidence, no energy, NO LIFE. So, I started working out on July 5th, 2006. Working out at 24 Hour Fitness on the LifeFitness Eliptical (9100 or X93) Machines. The 2nd picture on the left just below the 314 pound Huge Monster was taken on June 12th, 2007. At this point I weighed 221 pounds. That is 93 pounds lighter then the HUGE Guy in Swim Trunks pictured above. The workouts are paying off, and I FEEL AMAZING!
I started my workouts on July 5th, 2006 at a low level on the Eliptical Machines. Level 5 averaging 50 RPM's. And all I remember is the first four days were the worse. Yes, it was tough to hit a goal that I wanted to hit, going for 60 minutes each workout. I made myself do it, and at day 5 my endurance already began to go up. In the first 30 days I lost 25 pounds. And even though it didn't look like much, I can honestly tell you I felt more alive then ever. Going from 314 pounds down to 289 pounds in 30 days began my life changing experience. I could go up and down stairs with out huffing and puffing, and this was only after 30 days. At this point nothing was going to stop me. Today is July 4th, 2007 which is officially 365 straight days. My weight has dropped 96 pounds since I began my workouts way back on July 5th, 2006. I am at the lowest weight I have been at since 1992. I was wearing size 46 for pants and XXL Shirts, I now wear size 36's for pants and large shirts. I came very close to hitting my goal of losing 100 pounds!
It's official, my straight workout days are over. I will not start working out again until July 9th, 2007. Once I start my new routine it will consist of going to workout 5 days a week at 24 Hour Fitness, doing 40 minutes of Cardio and 20 to 30 minutes of weights. I will not weigh over 220 pounds again. If I hit this weight I will start straight day workouts until I am at least 215 pounds. My new goal is 205 to 210 pounds and that's where I will stay. I workout mostly at the 24 Hour Fitness in Huntington Beach, CA on Warner at Springdale. I can't believe I have lost 96 pounds. HEART IS THE KEY!!!!!
